EUROPEAN AMERICAN TRAVEL was founded in 1997 by Channing Taylor, a 40-year veteran of the travel business, in Boston, Massachusetts.
Born in Paris, France and educated in both France and Canada.
Channing worked for a travel agency after graduating from McGill University (Montreal, Canada).
After a few years, he went to work for Air Canada, where he worked in sales. Following Air Canada, Channing worked for Quebecair and later for KLM.
After leaving KLM, he became Sales Director for European Resources, a company which managed and marketed barge and river cruises in Europe.
In 1997, he founded EUROPEAN AMERICAN TRAVEL. The company opened a branch office in Paris, France in 2010.
Sylvie Chabret manages the Paris office. She has been in the business for over 25 years and has worked as a tour guide and was the Paris manager of a major international tour operator.
Among the staff, we speak English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and even Lithuanian.
